Rest & Replenish

I think that I cannot preserve my health and spirits,

unless I spend four hours a day at least—and it is commonly more than that—

sauntering through the woods and over the hills and fields,

absolutely free from all worldly engagements."

~ Henry David Thoreau

I have spent a lovely July seeking to replenish myself in ways I find beautiful. The word "rest" has many meanings, including base or foundation. The past month was about finding my footing again. Today, I offer postcards from this most refreshing interlude.
